[올포원] - 2번째 리젝(2.1.0 Performance - App Completeness,2.3.3 Performance - Accurate Metadata)

첫번째 어이없는 리젝 후 두번째로 리젝되었다는 메일을 받았다.

Next Steps

Please run your app on a device to reproduce the issues, then revise and submit your app for review. If at first you're unable to reproduce the issue, try the following:

For new apps, uninstall all previous versions of your app from a device, then install and follow the steps to reproduce. For app updates, install the new version as an update to the previous version, then follow the steps to reproduce.

If we misunderstood the intended behavior of your app, please reply to this message in App Store Connect to provide information on how these features were intended to work.

Guideline 2.3.3 - Performance - Accurate Metadata

We noticed that your screenshots do not sufficiently show your app in use. Specifically, your iPad screenshots show an iPhone device frame.

To help users understand your app’s functionality and value, your screenshots should highlight your app's core concept. For example, a gaming app should feature screenshots that capture actual gameplay within the app.

Next Steps

Please revise your screenshots to ensure that they accurately reflect the app in use on the supported devices.

Keep in mind the following requirements:

Marketing or promotional materials that do not reflect the UI of the app are not appropriate for screenshots. The majority of the screenshots should highlight your app's main features and functionality. Confirm that your app looks and behaves identically in all languages and on all supported devices. Make sure that the screenshots show your app in use on the correct device. For example, iPhone screenshots should be taken on iPhone, not on iPad.

무언가 엄청 많이 왔다..!

 

결론적으로 이걸 해석해서 읽어보면 바로 감이 오겠지만 이번 리젝에 가장 중요한 키워드는 다음과 같았다.

 

앱의 완성도와 메타데이터가 정확하지 않습니다!

 

앱의 완성도..? 라는 생각이 드는 찰나에 스크린샷들을 하나씩 꺼내보았다.

 

1. 앱의 완성도

 

 

 

이건 첫번째 사진이다. 이걸 보자마자 생각이 들었다.

"아.. 나 아이패드용은 만들지 않았는데.. 설정이 되있었나보네.."

이 경우 그냥 xcode에서 설정만 바꿔주면 된다.

 

앱의 완성도는 이것을 뜻하는 듯 하다.

2.  명확하지 않은 메타데이터

 



당연히 나는 아이패드용 어플로도 업로드를 했고 애플에선 아이패드 전용 앱 스크린샷도 요구를 했다. 처음엔 이게 필수라고 되있길래

 

"아이패드용 어플이 아니어도 스크린샷을 받는구나" 생각했는데 이런 멍청한.. destnation을 삭제하니 요구하는 아이패드 스크린샷이 필수가 아니게 되었다.. 

 

당연히 이부분은 위의 문제가 자연스럽게 연결 되는 부분이니 수정이라 할 것도 없었다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

이렇게 2번째 리젝을 경험하고 메일을 보내니 같은 문제로 연락이 오진 않았지만 무려 3번째 리젝메일이 날아왔다. 공교롭게도 이번에는 기술적으로 문제가 생겼었다. 지금은 그 문제를 다 고쳐서 보내긴 했는데, 항상 그래왔던것 처럼 그 문제를 해결했음이 확인 될때 포스팅을 해보겠다. 여러분도 이런점 리젝당하지 않게 조심했으면 좋겠다.
